5Must have! Works like a champ.
By Tyson E. Widegren
This bad boy is nice. Not too hard to install and is perfectly necessary in my mind. Combine this with a short 5″ division of clear sewer hose connector and you may tell when you’ve adequately rinsed your black water tank. It will help you keep away from repairs and keep your black water tank level gauge functioning properly. It will concede you to eliminate horrid left over odors.

I installed it with a 1″ wood boring drill bit and regular automotive silicone gasket stuff. Very straight forward and well worth the time and money.

5Camco RV Quickie Flush
By Sluggermike
Great addition to my RV. No more dragging the hose through the RV to flush the black water tank. Fairly easy to install. It was not real pleasant drilling a hole in the black water tank, make sure the tank is empty before you do it, but it was well worth the effort.

5Great Way to Clean Out the Black Tank From Outside
By Gene Michael
I put off buying one of these for a year because of not wanting to drill a hole into the black tank. Instead purchased one of the wands that are used inside…dragging a hose into the camper. Big mistake. Finally ordered a CAMCO RV Quickie Flush. I researched assorted similar units. Some have a rotating head inside that to me could get clogged or not function. This one is just plastic on the inside with holes to direct the water spray…no moving parts. Tested with a water hose to see the spray pattern. Instructions are good and the biggest decision is to pick a spot in your black keeping tank to mount the flusher. Drill a 1 1/8″ hole with a hole saw, then 3 holes for the screws (use a littler bit for screw holes than recommended). Be sure to use exterior waterproof silicon available at most hardware stores (Home Depot, etc). Follow the instructions for installation. Instructions say leave for 3-4 hours after installation before using, but I left for the length of one night to be sure silicon was cured.

This model comes with a long plastic hose to remotely mount the flusher depending on where your access is to the keeping tank. I didn’t need it since I had easy outside access. Why didn’t I do this the day I purchased my motorhome. So easy to use. I dump the black tank when it’s at least half full, refill with water to in regards to half using the Quickie Flush hose connection, dump again. I likewise have a short clear sewer connection so may see how well the Quickie Flush is working and know the tank is clean. Then dump the grey tank.

Amazon had a outstanding price…better than RV stores, fast and free shipping with no tax. If you have a motorhome or travel trailer…highly commend the CAVCO Quickie Flush.
